| To use the handset menu, the control
box must first be placed in 'command' mode. To do this press
the 'power' button on the handset. The display will show
'point and press select' point the handset at the controller
and press the 'select' key for about 1 second. The controller
will light all of the LED's to show that the system is in
command mode. The handset will display one of the text menu's
below. To return the controller to normal use press 'exit'. |

When the handset displays this text; pressing 'select' will ask the
sensor for a calibration value. This value will be the sum of the
sensor value plus the autocalibration 'setting'. This can be used
to cross check the 'milk sensitivity' setting under the main sensor
menu.
When the handset displays this text; pressing 'select' will ask the
handset to load all the 'saved' settings from the controller into
the handset. This data can then be 'transmitted' to other controllers
to exactly copy the settings from one controller to another, by using
the 'transmit settings' function. The loaded settings will remain
in the handset untill a new 'load settings' command changes them.
When the handset displays this text; pressing 'select' will ask the
handset to transmit all the 'saved' settings from the handset into
the controller. This data must be saved by pressing the 'save' button
once transmission has been completed and 'success' displayed.
When the handset displays this text; pressing 'select' will enter the
main menu structure as listed below. The basic method of navigating
around the menu system is to use the 'select' 'esc' and 'arrow' keys.
For example to change the pulse rate from 60 to 65ppm proceed as
follows. Enter the controller command mode as detailed above. 'Scroll'
to the 'settings' display by using the 'arrow' keys, press 'select',
scroll to the 'pulsation menu' by using the 'arrow' keys, press 'select'
scroll until the display shows 'pulse rate' , press 'select', the
display will now show a small arrow next to the number '60' which
shows that the pulse rate is currently set to 60ppm, this can now
be changed using the 'arrow' keys. Once the desired rate has been
reached press 'select' and then press 'save'. After save has completed
if required press 'exit' to return the system to normal user mode.
