Matched impellers rotating in opposite
directions, trap a volume of air at the inlet and move it around
the perimeter to the outlet.
This cycle is repeated four times during
each revolution of the input shaft. The capacity of the blower
is proportional to the speed of rotation, while pressure is generated
by system resistance.
Rotation of the impellers is synchronized
by helical timing gears which are keyed to the shafts, eliminating
contact between impellers.
The blower is engineered for the smoothest
possible flow of air. The rotating impellers trap incoming air
and move it through the cylinder.

- 100,000 hour bearing life
- No cooling water or sealing fluid required
- Non-wearing oil and shaft seals
- Oil sumps on both ends
- Oil sight glass on both sumps
